I was wondering what anyone thought of the name Piper Renee for a little girl. My husband and I both like it, but my family does not. Any opinions?

Thanks, Libby

I LOVE Piper Renee. Very cute name. I like Libby a lot too. Is that you full name of is it short for Elizabeth? I love Libby but would like to name my daughter that, not Elizabeth. Do you like your name?

I like it! Is Renee a family name? That would be the only thing I would change (MN), unless it was a family name. Although Renee sounds nice with it, I would choose a different MN, because Piper is such a fun, new name, and Renee brings it down a bit IMO.

I love Piper, absolutely love it. It is kind of new on the scene. Your parents will get used to it.

However, Renee is not a good middle name choice because of Piper ending in R and Renee starting with R, they run together

here are some I think would work. I think with Piper you don't want to go overly trendy in the middle or overly cutesy-feminine. the feminine traditional names work with it in the middle, plus a few other things

Piper Alexandra, Piper Alexis, Piper Corinne, Piper Christine (or Christina), Piper
Catherine, Piper Caitlin, Piper Delaney, Piper Danielle, Piper Elizabeth, Piper Elise, Piper Danae or Janae (good alt to Renee, same sound except for that R), Piper Joelle, Piper Kathleen, Piper Kristin, Piper Lynelle, Piper Michelle, Piper Nicole, Piper Noelle, Piper Suzanne.

good luck

Piper seems to be coming quite popular these days. I'm not crazy about it. It just doesn't sound like a name to me. Well, maybe the name of an airplane or boat or something but not a person. Sorry ... JMO. How 'bout Renee Piper?
