Maxwell Parker

And which 1 of the boys and girls names are your favorite.

Thank you for all your help. I do hope that I'm not driving anyone insane. I'm not due until February. =-)

Of your boy choices I like Maxwell Parker. I am just not a fan of Henry. I would like Parker Maxwell even better.

Maxwell Parker
Henry Maxwell

I think that I like Chloe a little bit better then Zoe. Isn't there a sesame street character named Zoe?

Here are my thoughts:

Maxwell Parker-I really don't know how to think of a Maxwell. I think that he'd be very studious & tidy as a child, but maybe loosen up a bit as he gets older. He'd probably grow up to be a doctor though. I think a Maxwell will have brown hair, & most likely brown eyes as well. He'd be a small child, & a medium sized adult.

Henry Maxwell-I love Henry. I picture a little boy Henry to be either blonde hair & blue eyed, or light brown haired & blue eyed. If he has light brown hair, he'd have rosey cheeks & freckles too. I think he'd be a smart & quiet child, but very active & athletic. He'd be a little more outgoing as an adult, & would be a good family man. Maybe he'd grow up to be a pro-althlete or some kind of coach.

Herny Maxwell is definitly my favourite of the two, but I do like just Max on it's own. Maximilian & Maxfield nn Max are great.

Chloe Elisabeth-I've only known one Chloe, & I picture them to be kind of like her. She's a little girl (maybe 9 years old), & has blonde hair & blue eyes. She's very talkitave, & very into girly things such as fashion & make-up. I think she'd probably grow up to be about the same, but she's still a very nice & generous person.

Zoe Elisabeth-I love this name. I picture a little Zoe to have either red or blonde hair & freckles. She's very artsy & very witty at a young age. She'd probably grow up to be an artist, but maybe a more serious adult.

Zoe is definitly my favourite of the two. Chloe seems a bit flakey.

Hope this helps!

Sorry, I don't like Maxwell OR Henry. Max is OK...but Maxwell reminds me of the Beatles song where a guy named Maxwell Edison kills his girlfriend..."Bang bang Maxwell's silver hammer came down upon her head..."

Zoe means life in Greek, kind of a neat meaning. I considered it for a few minutes with my 2nd pregnancy. Both names are pretty overused, though. I made that mistake with my daughter, Kaitlin. When we named her, (she is 14 now) there were not that many...but a few years later, it was one of the most popular names. With our son, we just did a Hebrew name to prevent having to come up with a Hebrew name...long story, but everyone thought the Hebrew name should be after so-and-so...so naming him Benjamin just took care of it...LOL. He fits his name well, but there are three Bens in his class. (He goes to Jewish day school)

Keep checking in, and let us know what you decide!

Zoe and Chloe are very close and Elisabeth is a very typical mn so both are fine. I prefer Zoe to Chloe personally. I don't care for Maxwell or the boys names, but they are fine if you like them. Henry is a fine name.

Sorry, had to run before I finished the last one - OK, Chloe Elisabeth, sounds blonde, mousy, quiet, a researcher or behind the scenes person at the Kennedy Center or something, Zoe Elisabeth sounds like someone who works in advertizing, likes beer and French fries. Henry Maxwell, sounds fine but is probably a bit of a dork, a little dull, wants to like golf but just isn't coordinated. Maxwell Parker sounds like a Jewish paralegal on his way to law school on Long Island. I like Elisabeth with a z for a first name and Henry for a first name - how about Henry Parker or Elizabeth Maxwell?

My son is Maxwell Henry, so I'm a little biased. It's hard for me to think of him as any other than he is -- sweet, blonde, blue-eyed with an incredible smile. He's gregarious without being obnoxious. We call him Max and Henry is a family name. 4.5 years ago when we named him I wouldn't consider Henry as a first name, but now I would moreso. I think Max is strong-sounding, masculine but cute (in the same way as Sam, without being as popular). Henry is still a bit old-fashioned sounding, and/or British. We went with Maxwell as a first name because I wanted something longer that flowed better (without being such a mouthful like Maximillian).

Like a pp said, I see Max as being spunkier and sportier. Maxwell may be a little stuffy, but lots of longer formal names feel that way. Joe/Joseph, Ben/Benjamin, Sam/Samuel, Chad/Chadwick, Josh/Joshua, etc.

Parker feels a little dated.

As for the girls' names, I think Chloe sounds classier than Zoe. I love Elisabeth even though it's a bit common. I still like Zoe -- for it's spunkiness and the fact that it starts with a Z (how fun!), but Chloe would be my pick for something feminine, slightly unique, yet with a bit of a punch.

Of the boys' names I like Maxwell Parker but I'd turn it around and make it Parker Maxwell(depending on your last name---it would sound better that way for ours is all I'm saying)

Of the girls' names I like Chloe Elisabeth.

Have a fun pregnancy!
