Wow- an evenly split board! I'm going to put my vote in for Isabella.
It's a sad fact but people do judge based on name- What do you think of when you see the name Kyn'taea Williams? How about Caroline Williams? Mikayla is one of the names that unfortunately has a bit of a negative image- Dr. Mikayla Smith seems improbable, whereas Dr. Michaela Smith seems more likely.
That's not my prejudice, honest, it's just the way it is. My name is Siena (after an Italian city), and Siena/Sienna is considered by many people to be a 'ditzy' name, so I've had to fight name stereotypes since I was a kid, and I'm hyper aware of them. Michaela's a good alternative to Mikayla, though.
I really hope I've not offended you; I'm a preschool teacher and a mama of two myself, I know how hard it is to choose one beatiful name with all the 'right' ingredients :)

PS Michaela and Isabella are classic, four-syllable girls' names- maybe some others, if you're still looking :P
Adriana Alexandra Amelia Annabella Antonia Aurelia Cecilia Felicity Gabriella Helena (ok, so it's three, but pretty!) Juliana Katerina Marietta Marcella (another 3- but it's so pretty...)
If it's a choice between Isabella or Mikayla, without a doubt, I would pick Isabella. If it was a choice between Isabella or Michaela it would be a much harder decision and it would actually be a tie. JMHO.
Isabella, hands down. Like many others have said, I find the spelling Mikayla very problematic. If it were a competition between Isabella and Michaela, the competition would be closer for me, though I still think Isabella would come out on top.

Honest opinion:
To me, Isabella is a beautiful, classic, though quite popular name that reflects well upon the child and her family.
Mikayla, spelled this way, is way too trendy and down-market. Michaela looks much better, although the name over-used.
