What do you think of the name Elise? Do you think it would be completely rediculous to have her middle name be McKenna? (The exact name of the character from Somewhere in Time). It makes Elise sound better with our last name, I loved the movie, but I don't want to be silly either. Thanks!

I dont think there is anything wrong with naming your child after a character in a movie you love and the name sounds really good together, so go for it!

I LOVE the name Elise. I think it is so pretty. It sounds nice with Mckenna, but I have never seen the movie. It might sound a little silly to those who have seen it. What about Elise Aurora, Elise Mckenzie, Elise Chantelle, Elise Ariana, Elise Jacobi, Elise Angelina, or Elise Lilianna.

Elise is lovely :) Very good choice, and Elise McKenna is fine, too, especially if it has special meaning to you.

I'm not familiar with Somewhere In Time - lots of people may not make that association

I think that flows well - Elise McKenna - If you wanted to make it slightly different from that character- would Elise Mackenzie work?

I like that even better personally, but that's without knowing what your last name would sound like with Mackenzie

I like the name Elise

good luck

I love the name Elise as a fn. It is my dd middle name, but spelled Elyse. We couldn't decide between names and used both. It's beautiful & sounds good with McKenna.
