I'm 4 months pregnant I already have 1 child but now I stuck in naming my second child. So far the names that I do like are for a girl Sara Lee.I can't figure out a boy name.

What is your first child named?

I like Sara a lot. Lee is okay, but not a favorite of mine. If you are considering Sara Lee as a combination, you should keep in mind the pastry line by the same name. It seems like prime teasing material.

Here are some names I think you might like based on your choices so far. If you give us a little more guidance as to what like, we can give you more choices.

Girls: Alison, Claire, Caroline, Eleanor, Madeline, Sophie, Jessica, Lauren, Tessa, Victoria
Boys: Thomas, Christopher, Nicholas, Nathan, David, Benjamin, Joshua, Luke, Stephen, Samuel

When you say "the names that I do like are for a girl Sara Lee", do you mean that you like the name Sara Lee as a full name, or Sara or Lee as a first name? Because Sara Lee is a brand name of baked goods, and I wouldn't want to use that for my child. Separately, Sara and Lee are both fine although I prefer Sarah and Leigh (or Leah). The spelling Lee is used more often on boys, I think.

What's your other child's name? And do you have any other names that you like (or don't like)?

Some other girl names that I think are a similar style to Sara and Lee:
Lynn
Jane
Anna/Ann/Anne
Elizabeth
Maria/Marie
Laura
Nicole
Jessica
Diana

Boy names with a similar style:
Michael
Andrew
Robert
Daniel
Alan
Louis
Paul

Good luck making a decision!

As others have said, Sara is a great name, but not with Lee--for obvious reasons.

Here are a few suggestions:

Boys:
Jonah, Joel, Justin, Adam, Aaron, Sebastian, Lucas(Luke), Camden

Girls:
Leah, Sophia, Alyssa, Georgia, Candice, Chelsea, Kirsten

Those are just a few off the top of my head. Hope you like one or two!

You could try Sara LeeAnn if you really like Lee for the middle name, it's my 16 yr olds name, and we've never had any references made to the baked goods.

Sara Lee is catchy, but it is also the name of a baked goods manufacturer so I would advise against it for your future childs sake. Well Good lUck!!!

Thanks for your advice. But, for some reason I really like that name. If you didn't know that is a biblical name. What suggestions do you give me for a boy name or girl name.

Hi,

Like other people have mentioned, Sara Lee is probably not a great combination- the baked goods brand is to well known. It would kind of be like naming a boy Oscar Meyer. Catchy, but the association's too strong. Sara (and Sarah)are lovely, though, and if you like biblical names then maybe-

Naomi Lee
Mary Sarah
Sara Ruth
Lucy Marie
Susanna Jane (nn Susie, Sanna?)
Anne Elizabeth
Tabitha Eve (nn Tabbie?)
Leah Judith
Mara Esther
Cara Lee- it's a bit close to SaraLee,but if she went by Cara it would be ok, I think.

Boys:
Marcus John
Seth Jonathan
Lucas David (nn Luke?)
Ezra Paul
Christopher Luke (nn Kit or Topher?)
Reuben Michael (nn Ben?)
Peter Raphael
Andrew Stephen (nn Drew?)
Simon Jared
James Gabriel (nn Jamie, Jack?)
Tobias Jude (nn Toby?)

Are there any you like? maybe not the combinations I made up, but are there any individual names you like?

Hmm, it may be helpful if you tell us the name of your first child...and maybe a preference as to the type of names you like.
