Hello, everyone! My husband and I were shopping last night, and picked up a name book to glance at. We know that we're having a girl (very excited about that!) and have two names picked out...Daisy LaVey AND Elliann Marie. I honestly like both equally and cannot decide. But I was worried about the likeness of Elliann becuase it's a name I made up and my husband thinks it sounds a bit like "alien." We looked up Elliann to see if there's possibly a listing of it in this book, and there's not, of course, but there it was...Eliana! I like that! It's very feminine, and get's rid of the "alien," means "sunny," (so cute), and still contains the family meaning (Elie for Eleanor, great grandma; Ann for mom's middle name; and Marie as my middle name). What do you think? Elliann or Eliana? Thanks for reading!

I definately like Eliana better, it's sounds more feminine than Elliann. I also prefer Eliana Marie over Daisy LaVey! Eliana Marie seems to carry more meaning for you.

Bigskykids-Exactly! As soon as I posted this, I realized that I should spell it with two n's..."elianna" so it better reflects my mother's middle name, Ann. Thanks!

Elliann Marie looks weird to me I like Ellie Annmarie, it
Ooo..really? I didn't know that was an association with La Vey. Actually, my mother-in-law's name is La Vey, and she's a wonderful person. That's why. Do you know what the name actually means, because I haven't found it.
Thanks,
Michelle

What I have found out
I like Elliann and Eliana, but would choose Eliana personally. I also like Daisy, as it is what we named our 4mos old puppy!
Good luck,
Ali
