DH's older sister is TTC, and we were talking names yesterday. She told me her girls name was Ava Kate, and she was just shocked to death that their cousin who lives several states away was going to name her baby due in June, Ava! I had to break it to her that Ava was a very popular top 10 name, and she had no idea in the world. She said, "I don't know any". I'm not sure if it will affect their using Ava or not, but at least she knows now.
Her boys names were Franklin Paul and Henry George, after both she and her DH's grandfathers. I really like both of these names, and love the family significance. I'd prefer family names (at least mn) for any girls too, though, if they're going to use all family names for boys. I find it somehow a little sexist, even though I find myself doing it!
I told her that I really liked both Franklin and Henry, but my DH vetoed them. Although she said if I could ever bring my DH around she's be willing to negotiate:)

Based on popularity issues, let's hope she has a boy! :) Ava is not my piece of cake, but her boy names are awesome.
Good luck to them TTC! :)
