We've pretty much narrowed our choice down to either Jackson or Parker. I know they are both popular/trendy type names, but they are the two we like. However, whichever one we give our son as a first name is what we want to call him. DH likes Parker better, I like Jackson better. My mom likes Parker better, but my 2&1/2 year old keeps insisting his baby brother's name is Jackson.
If we use Parker then the mn will probably be Jackson...so Parker Jackson.
If we use Jackson I'm not sure of a mn since Jackson Parker sounds backwards to me.
Suggestions???
My other two kids are Mason Alexander and Courtney Renee. I do not want another M or C name. Also, I like traditional spellings (ie no substituting a K for a C)
Desire'
Mommy to...
Mason 11/23/04
Courtney 10/4/05
Baby boy due 8/20/07

If I liked both names equally, the -son endings of both Mason and Jackson would easily sway me toward Parker. Both boys having two-syllable names ending in "son" -- so basically the only difference is Ma- and Jack- --

I like both names... Jackson Parker has a similar feeling to your other children Mason & Courtney. Parker Jackson also works..
Here's a few more combos:
Parker Jeremy
Parker Joseph
Parker Justice
Parker Jameson

Definitely Parker, unless your son really is the 'son of Jack'. I am tired of Jackson, to be quite honest, but Parker is nice.

I agree with PP that Jackson is too similar to Mason.
