Need opinions on a name

Hey there,

I am due at the end of August but am hesitant to share my names with family and friends. I did last time and my sister in law said she was going to use my name. She didn't but was due after me so I didn't use it either. Ugh!

Anyway, I have a DD who is 3 her name is Audrey Grace.

For a girl for this one I am thinking Vivian Elizabeth, nickname Vivi. Any drawbacks you can think of? I love it because it is not too popular but not too different. How do you think it sounds with Audrey?

Thanks so much for your help!

Laura

Love it, and it's a perfect match for Audrey (both connote old Hollywood for me - Audrey Hepburn and Vivian Leigh). :)

It was Grace. I did snag it for the middle name though. ; )

Honestly, I think Vivian is the PERFECT sister to Audrey. You have made a gorgeous choice. The only drawback, IMO, is the popularity of the 'filler' mn Elizabeth. If it doesn't have personal significance to you (ie. family name) I might consider something a little less expected.

I like Vivian and think it sounds good with Audrey--as pp said, they both have that "old Hollywood style." And, the nickname Vivi is adorable.

I do think Elizabeth would be too popular a middle name for me (as pp said). A good quarter of little girls have Anne, Marie or Elizabeth as middle names according to the poll we've got going right now in the intro section. That said, it's also a lovely, classic name and a good match stylistically with Audrey Grace, with a more uncommon first name and a fairly standard middle name, so you shouldn't be dissuaded by it's popularity if you really love it.

If I were you, with such a lovely name as Vivian, I would probably choose something like:

Vivian Francesca
Vivian Scarlett
Vivian Eleanora
Vivian Eloise

Vivian Scarlett would definitely be a Gone With the Wind reference: Vivien Leigh, as Scarlett O'Hara.

I love Vivian as sister to Audrey, though. They're perfect!

Vivian is not my style personally, but I think it goes very well with Audrey. They both have that high-class/sophisticated air about them :)
