I have no idea why because I normally don't go for this type of mn, but I immediately thought of ...

Gemma Darling, or Gemma Darlene

Don't forget Gemma Dahling. ;)

Really ... isn't (or wasn't) there a Scottish woman here with a Dahling? FN or mn, I can't recall. It's a guilty pleasure, I'll admit. She'd have blue eyes and wavy hair and I'd call her Dahlia ... I AM in an odd mood today, aren't I? Must be all those Tooth Fairy names fluttering around in my head. LOL

Yes! This is actually my first, though. LOL

Kate's first "wiggly tooth" happened to fall out this afternoon at my mom's, so I won't see her until tomorrow and she's bringing the tooth home "so the tooth fairy will come!" So I'm making up a certificate and probably a note from the tooth fairy (who will definitely not disappoint, but will be letting her keep this first baby tooth for the memory box ... thus the note LOL). Hopefully that's not yet a frowned-upon practice, because I know my mom kept my first and it didn't get icky.

I'm thinking Tessara would be a good name for a tooth fairy. ROFL But then I've also tossed around Orla (get it?), Luisiuil (thought it looked like a fairy name LOL ... also happens to be related to "radiance," like her pearly whites, and sounds rather lilting --

We have a friend in Europe who has a niece w/ the name Gemma Lee (Leigh, I'm not sure). I also like Gemma Jolie! This is our 1st choice for a girl right now as well...we like Gemma Grace w/ poss. nn Gigi.

Good luck!
