WDYT of the follwing girls names

Hi Everyone:
We are having twins in just a few weeks and cannot settle on a girl's name. The boy will be Nathaniel (Nate) and their older sister is Lillian (Lily). Our last name is Adams so we need something not very common. Can you give me your honest opinions on the following first names?
Claire (Is it too common?)
Margot (Is it too snobby?)
Paige (Is it too boring?)
Any feedback would be so helpful!

Hello and congratulations! Of your choices, I really love Margot. I do not think it's snobby at all... it's classy and cool and uncommon. It stands up nicely with big sister Lillian and brother Nathaniel. Plus, you could also use the nickname Maggie if you wanted.
Lillian, Margot and Nathaniel
Lily, Maggie and Nate
Simply wonderful!!!!
While I do like the other names as well, I know quite a few little girls named Claire and Paige. I really think that Margot is a stunning choice for you.
Good luck!
I think Margot is heads and shoulders above your other options! Claire and Paige are both cute, but quite common and a bit more plain than the other children's names. They just don't have that *sparkle* like Margot does. I've never thought of it as snobby at all. The only Margot I've ever known was very cool and confident, but not snobby. Lillian, Nathaniel, and Margot is a wonderful sib set!
Good luck,
Liz
Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!

I'm sorry to say this, but while Margot is a name I *should* like, it does always seem to come across as snobbish to me. :( Also, Nathaniel/Nate and Lillian/Lily, while both traditional, classic names, are very approachable. They have that fun-loving, easy-to-get-to-know feeling about them, if that makes sense. I just don't get that from Margot.
FWIW, I could see a Margaret, nn Maggie, Maisie, Meg, Greta or even Molly with the other two. ;)
Claire and Paige would be a bit too common with the ln Adams for me personally, but that's your call. You could also consider a less-common form, like Claribel, with Clare as a nn. That way she'd have a less popular given name to fall back on should she ever want it (say, if there happens to be another Claire Adams in her fifth-grade class, KWIM?).
HTH ;)

Hi there. Congrats on your twins!
I love the name Lillian, & Nate is very cute too.
Here are my thoughts on the girls:
Claire (Is it too common?)-No, it's not too common. No more than Lillian or Nathaniel. I like it w/Lily & Nate a lot. Very pretty.
Margot (Is it too snobby?)-Nah. It's nice, but not my personal favorite. It's different.
Paige (Is it too boring?)-Yes. It's also too masculine w/the beautiful & feminine Lillian.
Hope this helps!
I love the name Margot, but don't especially like this spelling. Even though I speak French, when I read the name I can't help saying Mar-GOT to myself. (My flaw of course, but probably a mistake you'll hear a lot more than you would think.) My favorite spelling is Margaux (Ernest Hemingway's sister, FYI). I also prefer Margo to Margot. I don't think it's snobby, with any of these spellings.
Also, I love the nn Maisie for Margaret, and since Margot is a short form of Margaret, I can see a little Margot nn Maisie. Or, if you're worried about the snobby-ness factor, you could use Margaret as her fn but use the nn Margot.
Definitely a thumbs up on Margaret/Margaux/Margo/Maisie, etc. Claire and Paige would be too common for me with your last name, and they're so boring in comparison with this other set of options.

Honestly, I really don't like Margot. It sounds so bookish, like someone who thinks they know it all. I have known one Margot and she is not friendly and just plain not fun to be around.
I love Claire. It fits with any type of personality. Claire sounds happy, brilliant, athletic, feminine, and yet a bit ornery and fun. Margot doesn't sound like there could be an ounce of fun in her.
If you're concerned about the commonality of Claire Adams as some have mentioned, how about Clarise.
Lillian, Nathan, Claire
Lillian, Nathan, Clarise
I love them both and BTW I adore Lillian
