I just thought of another name that I really like. Savannah. What do you think? I don't hear that name used often anymore.

I love the name Savannah. Its been awhile since I have seen a baby named that, but I did go to school with 2 girls named Savannah. I'm not sure how I feel about it being popular, its in the top 30 like Kelli said but still thats not bad really. I guess it depends on where it is when I have a baby. If its in the top 5 no way, but who knows.

I am surprised you don't hear it as much anymore... I hear it more than ever. I am not sure how to work why I don't like it without coming across as rude, but I will try my hardest... it sounds to me to be the name of an adult entertainer... let's jsut keep it at that.

As far as place names go, I would pick Savannah over Brooklyn if I had to choose...but I still don't care for it. Savannah is quite trendy, and recently received "Hollywood Approval" when Marcia Cross chose it for one of her twins. You can't always predict what a star baby will do to a name, but it often creates a burst of popularity. Savannah may start to climb the charts even faster.

Of your choices, I think Emerson would be my first pick.

Honestly, it's not really my style because I don't like place names. I think Samantha would be a nice alternative.

I posted a poll about Savannah a couple weeks ago, if your interested. :"WDYT of Savannah?" It got alot of feedback. 31 replies I believe.

It is still one of the top names on my list. I think it is a beautiful sounding name, and like you I didn't realize it to be popular. I have only net one person named Savannah and no one recently that I have come across has that name.

Good Luck!

I like Savannah, esp when compared to unisex names like Emerson.
