| Sun, 06-10-2007 - 7:22pm |
I survived 9 hours of dance recitals yesterday!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Have fun with this list of names .....

I like Sara Catherine, Ian Henry & Noah Thomas
Alex Andrew- dont like alex as a given name and the alliteration isn't good
Brett William- not bad. quite like it actually
Sofia Demetria- bit sing-songy with the double 'a' ending.
Desire Audrey- hate desire. audrey is nice.
Maya Penelope- like maya. penelope i've never liked
Kaiden James- ahh another 'aiden' name.
Tyler Tristian- again, dont like the alliteration. i prefer this name as Tristian Tyler
Sara Catherine- nice. classy and sweet
Noah Thomas- wonderful!
Ian Henry- classic. never warmed to ian but i can see its appeal
Jack Ryan- too short.
Navator Jade- erm...eh?
ELizabeth Robin- would have prefered a girlier middle name
Timothy Victor- very nice
Aika Lucette- yuck
Meghann Sarah- megan would have sufficed.
Raymond Pierce- not sure if i like this...
Heidi Colleen- like colleen, heidi is the name of a mountain girl and i cant get that out of my head.
Alex Andrew - I agree ... Alex is a nn -- and an overused one at that (at least a longer forms gives him more options!) -- and I'm not digging the alliteration
Brett William - sounds like a country singer
Sofia Demetria - I like that they went for a less common mn with popular Sofia, and I even like Demetria in theory, but I'll admit on first glance I saw "Dementia" LOL
Desire Audrey - ew.

Fun!
Here are my thoughts:
Alex Andrew-I like that a lot, but prefer Alex as a nn.
Brett William-I love William, but Brett is nms.
Sofia Demetria-Very pretty.
Desire Audrey-Desire? Audrey is nice.
Maya Penelope-Aw, I like that.
Kaiden James-At least James is nice.
Tyler Tristian-I like those names seperatly.
Sara Catherine-That's classic, but I want the 'h' at the end.
Noah Thomas-Ooh, I like that.
Ian Henry-Darling.
Jack Ryan-Very nice.
Navator Jade-What?
ELizabeth Robin-I love Elizabeth.
Timothy Victor-I like Timothy.
Aika Lucette-Hm, that sounds sort of harsh.
Meghann Sarah-That's fine, but nms.
Raymond Pierce-I like Pierce.
Heidi Colleen-I like Colleen.
Thanks for sharing.
Alex Andrew - it doesn't work well. It sounds like Alexandrew as a name instead of Alexander. Plus, the nn only thing is nms.
Brett William - I like this. Brett is on my list and William is ds1's MN (not a filler either ;)).
Sofia Demetria - ok, but not really my style. Sounds pretty, though.
Desire Audrey - sigh
Maya Penelope - eh, it's ok, but Maya isn't really my favorite name. I hear it a lot lately.
Kaiden James - **Caden** IS a nice name, just very, very trendy, so off my list. James is ok as a MN
Tyler Tristian - Tyler feels dated, plus it doesn't flow right with whatever they're trying to say here (Tristan? or rhymes with Christian? huh?)
Sara Catherine - thumbs up. This is one cousin I have whose name I really like (SaraH ;)) and I want to use Catherine as a MN myself. Very special name for my family.
Noah Thomas - sounds good, but somewhat predictable
Ian Henry - same as above ;)
Jack Ryan - um, as in Jack Ryan, action hero? or Jack Ryan, former candidate for US Senate, plagued by scandal and formerly married to actress Jeri Ryan :P
Navator Jade - ?? interesting
ELizabeth Robin - Elizabeth is ok, Robin is nmsaa
Timothy Victor - ok
Aika Lucette - mmm, no
Meghann Sarah - Either one N or no H! Pick one! I'm not even a fan of Meghan - prefer Megan - but this doesn't even look right.
Raymond Pierce - unexpected, at least to me and I don't mind it, even if it's nms.
Heidi Colleen - Heidi is cute, but that's it's main problem for me. I really don't like the pairing of it with Colleen.
I like reading birth announcement names! Thanks for posting the list.
Amy :-) dw to Jerry; CPST and HS Mom to 4 great kids and hopefully more
Tyler Tristian - Tyler feels dated, plus it doesn't flow right with whatever they're trying to say here (Tristan? or rhymes with Christian? huh?)
Thank you!!! I was beginning to think I was the only one who didn't think this an odd misspelling (and/or mispronunciation) of Tristan! LOL I've honestly seen "Tristian" at least three times this past week alone, and while I love Tristan, when spelled and said properly, this oddity just baffles me! Glad to see I'm not the only one.

Alex Andrew--yawn
Brett William--boring
Sofia Demetria--alright
Desire Audrey--ew!
Alex Andrew - I dislike the assonance between the first and middle names.
Brett William - I like this name, but fear that Brett might be dated.
Sofia Demetria - I really like this name. It has a lot of character, despite Sofia's popularity.
Desire Audrey - These two names don't go together at all, and I dislike Desire (stripper name!)
Maya Penelope - This is a beautiful name.
Kaiden James - I dislike Kaiden, particularly with this spelling.
Tyler Tristian - FAR too much consonance.
Sara Catherine - I don't like Sarah without an h, and I also don't really like it with Catherine.
Noah Thomas - This is a fine name.
Ian Henry - I like this name all around.
Jack Ryan - This is not nice. Makes me think of Tom Clancy . . . don't kids deserve better?
Navator Jade - DON'T KIDS DESERVE BETTER?
ELizabeth Robin - Charming. Robin is way underused.
Timothy Victor - I don't particularly like either of these names, and they don't go together well.
Aika Lucette - I like this name from start to finish even though it is nms at all.
Meghann Sarah - Is there a need for two n's in Meghan?
Raymond Pierce - I dislike Raymond.
Heidi Colleen - Fine.
