sorry for posting so much about this!! This should be the last thing I need a suggestion on.I completely forgot in my other post and it's important so i didn't want to edit it in the other one....

We are going with Sydney:)I lost my momma last July and it's been hard for me and especially my oldest son-they were VERY close! I would love to honor her but i really don't think I can fit her name in with Sydney.

Her name was Vivian Lucille. She ALWAYS hated Lucille!!!!!! I think Lucille sounds ok but it's just the fact how much she hated it.Have any ideas?

Or should I just go with a mn I posted earlier.Probably Dawn,Avery,or Aurora

and suggestions for nn's would be greatly appreciated to:)

EDT-Her first name will be Sydney b/c I like for their first name to be what they go by:)

I think Sydney Vivian sounds fine if you really want to honor her (which is awesome).

I just wasn't so sure the names went together.I like Lucille better...with Sydney, not in general, but I just know she always said she hated it.Even though it sounds better,I don't know if I would be ok with that.Or if I should just go with a different name all together....

I also like Jada.

I think it would be wonderful to honor your mom this way.

ITA with the PPs. Sydney Vivian sounds lovely and is the perfect way to honour your mom.

I think Sydney Vivian is fine, and the family connection makes it that much more special. If you're worried about the "flow," you might consider the French form of Vivian: Vivienne. The emphasis is on a different syllable, so it sounds slightly different.

Sydney Vivian would be gorgeous, but if you'd rather use a form of your mother's middle name, how about Luz (pronounces like loose), the Spanish word for light? Sydney Luz might work, if Vivian isn't your cup of tea
