I don't think it's a problem in the least, great choice! It's always nice when you agree on a name. The "v" thing isn't an issue at all.

I think Evan Vincent sounds fine. It's a little heavy on the "V" sound, but it still works.


Evan is one of my favorite names.

if it was just the "v", I would think it was okay, but it's also a little heavy on the "n" sound.
