Fresh suggestions please!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to get some fresh suggestions to consider
adding to our girls list, it seems to be so short. Our LN is Waters, so no place names, color names, etc. as it's too "word-namey".
Here is our current list:

Top Tier:
Evelyn, nn Liv or Evie (I know Liv may seem out there, but there is other meaning behind it, so just ignore it if you don't like it!)
Gwyneth, nn Gwen

Lower tier:
Tessa (after Mom Teresa)
Genevieve
Helena
Cora

Of course, DH has vetoed many in the past, but I'd like to throw some
at him again, so I will accept any new suggestions! And we do like nicknames, so feel free to include those.

Last of all, what are some boys names that you think "go" with the above list of girls' names? Just curious!

THANKS!

Congrats on the wedding, first of all! And thanks for the suggestions. Olivia is just way too common/ popular for me; otherwise I'd definitely consider it. DH wants Liv alone, but it's just not "enough" for a given name IMO, especially since I go by Liz 99% of the time- might get too confusing. I've compromised w/ DH that he could call a little Evelyn V-middle-name daughter Liv if he wants. He'd likely be the only one, so that's why I don't mind it as a family nn.

I totally get you w/ Cora Waters- it's just too bad it doesn't sound right!

I do like Audrey, but it just doesn't sparkle for me like some others do. Also, it is DH's aunt's name, so they'd have the same 1st and last names.

I really like Jocelyn, thanks for bringing it back to my mind. We have a good friend/ neighbor with this name, so I might feel weird using it if we're still in close contact when we have a child. However, I'm definitely putting it on the list.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Thanks for the suggestions!

I like Iris, Violet and Ivy, but do you think those nature-type names sound OK with Waters as ln?

Annabel has gotten super popular in my area for some reason the last year, so it's out for me personally, although I think it's lovely.

Cecilia, Nora, Margot, and Beatrice are also ones I like, but DH has rejected again, grr! You're spot on with my style, though!

From the boys list, Bennett was the only DH liked, and he might think about Elias, so that's progress there. I just love Lewis and August, but he just won't go for it unfortunately!

Thanks again

Thanks for the suggestions! I think Vivian is now going back on our list- yea! DH thought his dad's crazy ex-fiance was Vivian, but when I read your list to him he realized that her name was Lydia. So Lydia is out, but Vivian is in again, so that's great. Cordelia also appeals to me b/c my maiden name starts with Cord- but DH vetoed it. I also really like Lenora/ Lenore, Matilda nn Tilly, and Margot, but DH again said not to these (mostly for the 2nd or 3rd time- I keep trying!)

I really like Henry and Nathaniel, but DH has said no again to these. The only one he was open to was Edwin. I'm not too sure about it, I prefer Edmund, but I'm willing to give it some thought since he likes it.

Thanks again!

I smiled reading your list b/c our dog's name is Phoebe Antonia!!! I really love both of those names, but DH wouldn't consider them for children, so we gave them to her (we do love her like a child, though:)

Corinne is the only girl suggestion that DH would go for, but he did seem to like it, so I'm adding it to the list! Thanks!

I think Hermione is so pretty, but I'm afraid it's just too Harry Potter! WDYT?

From the boys side, Edwin/ Edmund are definitely under consideration. My dad is Edward, so it would kind of be to honor him. DH prefers Edwin, I prefer Edmund, although I don't know if I love either. We'll see! Also, Hugh is my grandpa and great-grandpa's names, and DH likes it, so it's definitely one we'll consider. The only problem is that I like the names from my side (Ed-names, Hugh Harrison) but I dislike the one he wants to use from his (his dad is Joe but we'd use Joseph). I don't know if getting a little Hugh or Edmund is worth using Joseph for another son.

Charles, nn Charlie is also one DH will consider. It is nice for me too, but just doesn't have the sparkle that Ambrose or Frederick have, IMO!

Thanks for the great suggestions!
