Here is my dilema my hubby and I have agreed that we both like Cade to be our son's name. But hubby insists we name him Caden nn Cade. I like it fine since he will be called Cade. However in 10 yrs I'm afraid Caden will be totally dated b/c of ayden trend,

Seems unnecessary. You are definitely going to have the dated problem with Caden- it WILL seem outdated in a few years (probably less than 10). If you are unhappy with that, I would drop the name altogether and look for something different. Cade Brown (which is what he will be called either day) doesn't flow well, but is a million times better than Caden Brown (or Jonas Caden Scott Brown, or Alexander Caden Scott Brown, etc).

Cade Christian Scott Brown, maybe? I don't think Cade Brown sounds too abrupt...Brown is a longer one-syllable name, if that makes sense...it's like the "w" draws out the sound more. And Cade has a very "open" sound. Scott sounds a bit abrupt, but you'd get that no matter where you used it.

I am all for using two middle names if there is a significant purpose (or even if the parents just love three names so terribly much that they want to use all three); so in this case, to avoid the inevitable dated sound of Caden, I'd definitely feel free to use two middle names in the way you've suggested.
