Irish boy names?

I'm 20 weeks along & we're having a boy. DH's initials are DCG, so we thought we'd try to go with the same initials. I'm Irish, so I wanted an Irish name. If we couldn't find an Irish name, I wanted a Hebrew name. So we decided on Daniel Connor, & we'd call him Connor. After much thought, I've realized that the name Connor bring to mind some unpleasent associations. Calling him Daniel is out of the question because one of DH's friends is named Danny & my MIL would DIE if we called him that. I like my MIL, so we don't want that. :) I've been looking at other Irish "C" names tonight & came up with Cullen, Corbin, & Cellen, but our last name ends with "en" & I'm wondering if that would sound odd? DH really like them name Callan, but I saw it's traditionally a girl name. I'm also trying to consider any awful nicknames he might aquire in school.. I'm at a complete loss.. Any

Of the names you're considering, I like Connor or Corbin best.

I love Cormac, myself. Or Declan Caleb...very handsome, and you can kind of "find" Dan in Declan (okay, you have to close your left eye and squint, but it's in there!)

I like Corbin but I'm a little biased. :)

Curran

Cowan - I would have used this in a heartbeat if it wasn't the
