The title speaks for itself, I'm having a hard time pairing a middle name with the husband's favorite girl's name, Hunter. We wouldn't traditionally name a child after any

Perhaps you are having a hard time because Hunter is not a girl's name! You may be interested in reading this thread:

I think you need to start fresh and eliminate Hunter! I would feel ridiculous as a girl with that name!

If you're dead set on using a decidedly masculine name for your daughter, I would use a very feminine middle name.

I really like the name Hunter for a girl! I was a substitute teacher last year, and one of the seventh grade girls I had a few times in class was named Hunter. Since it's is a more unusual name for a girl, though, I might go with a traditional middle name like Elizabeth or Katharine.

My little girl is named Hunter. First off, I know a lot of girls with the name Hunter so don't let anyone here change your mind.

Our daughters middle name is Lee. Hunter Lee. She's only a year old now but when she gest old if she doenst wanna go by just Hunter, she can go by Hunter Lee and it sounds more girly

Hi Brandi,

I agree with previous posts, that I think Hunter is a very masculine name and seems like it would be starting your little girl off to a disadvantage. If you really insist on naming her that, then I would definitely give her a definite feminine middle name.

Perhaps you and your DH might like one of these as opposed to Hunter: Bailey, Riley, Sonnet, Cameron, Emerson, Harley, Aubrey, London, Parker, Saige, Quinn, Skylar, Peyton, Kacey, Tawny,or Devin

And congratulations from one navy wife to another :)
