Sorry, but I really, really dislike Parker on a girl- it is just way too masculine! When I have kids, they will have a P last name as well, so I try to avoid P first names, I dislike the alliteration.
For my dd who was just born in march... it was down to parker and aspen. When she was born, we chose Aspen..... but it was a close call... Parker was the last name of my best friend who passed away 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant.
But... she wasn't a parker... she was an Aspen.... :)
I'd rather see it left to the boys (Parker Posey being a throwback to the last time the gender-swapping trend swept through the naming landscape)...and I wouldn't pair it with a P surname on either gender. Some initials or rhymes are obscure enough that kids wouldn't think of them until they're old enough to not make the joke...PP isn't one of those sets.
A friend of mine named her little girl Parker about 6 years ago.

All the Parkers I know or know of are girls.
