I think Rae as the mn is great! It's the Addison Atwood part I don't really care for- I just don't like the flow. I guess it's the repetitive Ad- At- sounds. Since it's the fn and ln that are going to be used most during her life (mn's are usually only said at graduations), I feel like that flow is pretty important. Here are some suggestions, just in case you're open to other ideas:

Jocelyn Rae Atwood
Kirsten Rae Atwood
Sophie Rae Atwood
Sydney Rae Atwood
Chloe Rae Atwood
Kelsey Rae Atwood
Kylie Rae Atwood
Mackenzie Rae Atwood
Mallory Rae Atwood
Madeline Rae Atwood

Hi there.

I don't think that it sounds funny, I just think that it sounds tired.

On behindthename.com (which I think is one of the most reputable sites), it says that Alison is masculine & feminine. So as far as I can tell it was used for both in past times.

Ditto this...Addison Atwood sounds hinky to me; Rae sounds fine. Morgan Rae Atwood popped to mind as an alternative.

Allison is a variant spelling of the French Aliçon, meaning "little Alice." Addison is a surname meaning "son of Adam." The sound might be similar, but the meaning is entirely different.
