I think Rae as the mn is great! It's the Addison Atwood part I don't really care for- I just don't like the flow. I guess it's the repetitive Ad- At- sounds. Since it's the fn and ln that are going to be used most during her life (mn's are usually only said at graduations), I feel like that flow is pretty important. Here are some suggestions, just in case you're open to other ideas:
Jocelyn Rae Atwood Kirsten Rae Atwood Sophie Rae Atwood Sydney Rae Atwood Chloe Rae Atwood Kelsey Rae Atwood Kylie Rae Atwood Mackenzie Rae Atwood Mallory Rae Atwood Madeline Rae Atwood
I LOVE the name Addison! Addison Atwood sounds fine to me, however, I am not crazy about the mn Rae. But, if it is a family name and you like it, go for it. Some other mn options are:
On behindthename.com (which I think is one of the most reputable sites), it says that Alison is masculine & feminine. So as far as I can tell it was used for both in past times.
Allison is a variant spelling of the French Aliçon, meaning "little Alice." Addison is a surname meaning "son of Adam." The sound might be similar, but the meaning is entirely different.
