So I think the name Allison is soooo pretty but I really don't care for Ali. Does anyone have any suggestions of cute (not too out there) nicknames that work??

I really don't see a reason that Allison needs a nn. My friend has an Alyson and that is all that she is called.
I guess that Lissa could work, but I don't really care for that either.

Well I actually don't think it needs a nickname either (and I would prefer the whole name)!!!!

Isn't it funny how people want to nn a name? We had to be tough with some of our kids -- they wanted to call Will "Willy" and I corrected "them" every time (a happy "It's just Will"). They get the idea after awhile. So you can go a long way -- as the parent -- in correcting mispronunciations or undesirable nicknaming. I think Allison is very nice.
