It's very similar to Lillian, but I can't say whether it's "too" similar, not knowing the context. I mean, it'd be too similar to name siblings Lillian and Lilyann!
If I wanted the pronunciation lily-ANN, I think I'd use Lilianne, or else the double-first-name Lily Ann.
i agree with the previous posters.....a double first name plus a middle name would be better than trying to make any combined spelling look like it is pronounced Lily Ann. in my opinion the only possible way to make it one word and not look like lilian would be to do it like this : LilyAnn...combined, but the A in caps. im not particularly fond if it this way though. i think your best bet is to go with Lily Ann(e) + mn + last name.
If you're trying to get Lily Ann instead of Lillian I think the Lilyanne or Lilianne spelling might be your best bet, or a double first name as others recommended.
Well, they're all invented misspellings, so I would have to disagree. Lillian is lovely, as is Liliane and Liliana. Lily Anne would be charming, as would Lilia Anna. Being unique need not be achieved through misspelling. :)

I would do a double fn Lily Ann or Lily Anne. I think the pushed-together spellings are less attractive and bring up the pronunciation issues.
I do think that Lilyann/ Lilianne, etc. could be confused w/ Lillian.
Thanks belle_petite for the siggy!
I would recommend Lilly-Anne or Lily-Ann or whatever but with a hyphen.

I agree with the posters who recommend the double name first name -- either, "Lily Ann(e)" or "Lily-Ann(e)" -- but not "LilyAnn".
