I am always happy to share my thoughts :)

Bennett (g) - cute, especially if she goes by Benny

Race - too weird

Kohl (pron. Cole) - ugg, sillly

Annissa (pron. Uh-knee-suh ) - nms, I would have liked something like Cassia

Sody (g) - doesn't sound very pretty to my ears

Laken (b) - ok, Lachlan or Locke is more masculine, but this is fine

Ainsleigh - poor spelling

Thanks for sharing!

Bennett (g): Really? A girl? WHY?

Race: Oh, now that's just not the best idea.

Kohl (pron. Cole): I like Cole, but Kohl's is a big department store chain, at least in the Midwest.

Annissa (pron. Uh-knee-suh): Nice.

Sody (g): Makes me think of both Soda Pop and Pony Boy from "the Outsiders."

Laken (b): I prefer just Lake, but it's fine.

Ainsleigh: This is just one of those gender-confused names for me...I know that people use it a lot on girls, and I can see how it would sound feminine, but it's traditionally male...so I'd just abandon it (and definitely scratch the fussed-up spelling.)

>> are there ANY male names safe from girl use? <<

When I heard "Caleb" on a girl, I decided there weren't.

It's like people were expecting a boy and just used their boy name on the girl.

Ha. That's one excuse for this trend!

Thanks a bunch,
