I like everything but August (which isn't bad, I just went to school with an August called Augie...and let's just say he didn't turn out very well.) I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of these, but Reuben and Moses are my faves. (I really like Moss as a nn for Moses.)

I really like Theo, and August is nice too.

I like August (but not the nn gus). Theo would be my second choice.

Moe reminds me of the bartender on The Simpsons and Rudy sounds feminine to me (maybe it's cause of the daughter on The Cosby Show).

My DH has a long last name but I still want a unique name for our child. I love Reuben (nn Rudy?) if he will go for it. Also like August nn Gus but he's not to keen on that. Like Moses (nn Moe) but maybe not for our first child. Also like Clark and Theo. last name starts with a DeB...

What do you think? I like Henry but my best friend might be using that so I am ruling it out for now until I know for sure.

The current more popular spelling is Ruben -- which I think I like because it doesn't make me think of the sandwich so much.
