Ok, We have a new list with some of our tops still around and a few new ones added. What are your thoughts on these names (big sis is Mia Grace).

Hi there,

Here are my thoughts...

with big sis Mia Grace, and mn Alice or Rose:

Summer - this is sweet, but NMS. Not sure it goes so well with Mia

Ivy - this is nice and different (known but not overused). Not the best match with Mia though IMO.

Scarlett - This is beautiful. Mia and Scarlett sound good.

Rose - I don't think it's too old sounding, but may be too plain next to Mia. Seems better as a mn.

Eve, Eva - I really like Mia and Eva - think that's sweet! I prefer Eva to Eve

Ruby - this is also nice. Goes well with Mia I think.

Reese - I think this to too unisex next to the "all-girl" Mia.

Hope - This is NMS, but it's okay.

My favs from your list are Mia and Scarlett Rose/Alice, Mia and Eva Rose, and Mia and Ruby Alice.

I LOVE Ivy! I knew the most adorable, spunky little girl once named Ivy and it has stuck out to me since. Eve is a great one as well.

Summer - It's OK, not really a stand-out, IMO; goes OK with Mia

Ivy - Pretty, a little different, works well with Mia; I like it

Scarlett - NMS but works fine with Mia

Rose - Old-ladyish? Why? I don't get why you would think that. Works great with Mia, too.

Eve, Eva - Pretty, works fine with Mia

Ruby - What a great choice this would be!

Reese - Too plain and too unisex/boyish next to the feminine Mia Grace, IMO

Hope - Nice!

Rose is my favorite. I don't see it as old-ladyish at all...I see it as classic, gracious, refined...yet sprightly. (And I love shaking up the expected by putting a common middle name in the first name position--it's really too pretty to hide in the middle.) Ivy would be a close second for all the same reasons. Hope is nice enough, but it doesn't have the same sparkle. I have a hard time imagining an 80-year-old Summer. And the rest feel more or less trendy to me (even Ruby, to a lesser extent.) But I truly love Rose and Ivy.
