Jacqueline!!! So classic, yet underused. Bella is just okay as a MN to me, but if you love it, then of course you should use it.

If I could vote for Jacqueline 10 more times, I would -- it's a wonderful name :-)

Good luck!

Thanks, Gayle! I love Jacqueline, but I am finding that many people don't pronounce it correctly. My Grandfather's name was Jack and my Grandmother's name was Bella. So, I was trying to come up with ways to name the baby after them. It is tough, but they practically raised me and I feel the need to honor them in this small way. Thanks again for the nice feedback. Interesting....how do you pronounce it and how have others?

I guess there is no right or wrong, but I pronounce all the letters - Jac Quel ine. Many people say Jac elyn and Jaclyn. I told 3 friends that I was considering the name and they all pronounced it differently! The truth is, most Jacquelines are called Jackie, so it probably doesn't make much difference! Lexi

Ahhh, I see what you're saying now. It's a fairly subtle thing to me. My youngest daughter's name is Elena (eh-LAY-na), but my husband (of all people, lol!) says ee-LAY-na. And I swear he didn't start it with a long 'e' when we were discussing baby names. Oh well....

Good luck and let us know what you decide!!
