trying to name #3

Hi everyone,

We are expecting #3 and having difficulty coming up with a 3rd boy name (although we won't know gender until the birth). We already have 2 boys; Brenton Travis and Tanner James. I know I want the middle name to be Allen (after my dad) but we are having trouble coming up with a first name we agree on. I really like Graysen Allen but DH doesn't like it. We both like Carson Allen, but it doesn't feel like "the" name to me. I want to avoid any names starting with B or T since we already have those. Any suggestions? TIA

I'm probably not helping much but I really like Graysen Allen. It's not a very common name, I've only known one person named Grayson and his full name was Grayson Gray =)

Thanks for the reply. It is heplful because I wasn't sure if it was too different. I haven't gotten much support with family members, but I think they have always needed to adjust to our kids' names, as they are not traditional. I really like Graysen too, now I just have to convince DH!!!

I like Graysen (I like the spelling Grayson best, but no big deal :)

other suggestions:

Carter (I think this is great with your other boys' names, and it's similar to Carson)

Jonah

Hunter

Thanks Marguerite,

I like the spelling Grayson better too, but my DH doesn't want another "on" ending since we have Brenton. He actually wants to spell Carson, Carsen which I am not fond of. I like your suggestions a lot, but we know a couple of Carter and Hunter's so they seem more common. I like Jonah a lot, I will suggest that to DH!

Thanks again,

Thanks, those are some great choices. I love Oliver, but DH thinks everyone would call him Ollie and he doesn't want anything with a "y" ending because our last name ends in y. That makes it really hard to pick a girl's name! That is funny you suggested Ramsay, I have a friend with a 8 month old named Ramsay. It is so uncommon, I hadn't heard it before that! Thanks again, you've given me a lot more to consider!
