I'm the one that was thinking of using Ivy Marguerite to pair with Lily Ananstasia! If I was just having one, Ivy would be *the* name, I love it's elegant simplicity!

Good Luck!

Dev, I had to laugh at your post. My dd's name is Lily Rebekah and before I divorced her father, I was thinking that if I were to have another dd, her name would be Ivy Elizabeth! LOL!

I love the name Ivy too! I definitely think it's going to make a come back soon!

Good Luck!

I really like it. It's a nice alternative to Ava, Ella and Eva, which are really popular now.

Thanks for the replies...needed because the poll shows more people voted O.K/dislike than like it/love it!

I like Ivy because there is only one way to spell it and only one way to say it. You can't say that about too many names these days! It is cute, but not too cute. Even though it is short and simple, I think it is a serious enough name that will carry someone through life. It is not out there uncommon, nor is it common, which to me is important.

I needed an I or B name and actually thought of Ivy for the very first time when I read some of the posts on this board.

So, a big thanks!
