I'm used to seeing this name spelled as Jami or Jamie. I've never seen the name spelled as Jeymi, but I like it! I think that is a very cool and unique way to spell it! It's not too misspelled at all. I think it looks great!

I personally don't like it spelled that way, but if you want a spelling other than Jamie, maybe you could do Jaymee or Jaymie or Jaimie or even Jaimee. That way it still looks like Jamie and it's not overly creative...

I think this looks awful, sorry. It's a pretty name though, and Jamie is a perfectly nice way to spell it. No matter how "creatively" you spell your child's name, it's still pronounced the same. You are not giving her a unique name, just saddling her with a spelling she will be forever correcting.

I agree with the spelling part. Even though my name isn't that different...(Kerri as opposed to the traditional Kerry or Carrie)...I could never find pencils, toothbrushes etc...with my name on them.

Hey thanks bowlingforsoup. I've havent recieved as good a response yet.

It appears my family has decide to go with the J theme when naming their children. My sister in law who just had her baby three weeks ago named their daughter Jacklyn nn Jackie. While my sister went with Jade Cassandra when she tossed up between Jade and Shelby (my BIL is from the south and wanted a sourthern sounding name) so although Jade is apparently really popular in America (I live in Australia where the name isn't heard too much, around here anyway) they still loved it. So anyhow I have decided to follow this 'theme'. My sister did not warm to this spelling and said she could hardly pronounce and that my child will have a hard with it. I jsut wanted to knwo what others thought. Thanks for the responses.

i think it is an awsome way to spell it!!! i hate names spelled normal... my name is kellie... not seen very often... i never got a toothbrush with my name on it... i surivied it... i thiink i like having my name the way it is.... but if i were to use ur name, jeymi, i would end it maybe with an ee instead of an i... jeymee.. or jeymie... i am not partial to i endings... in t he end the final decision is urs.. so whhoever doesn't like it can kiss ur butt.... hehehe... well good luck!!!

I like Jayme, Jamey and Jaime as alternate spellings.

I'm sorry, Jeymi is way too misspelled. That poor child will be spelling his/her name his/her whole life! It also looks ridiculous, imho.

If it's a boy, please name him James & call him Jamie or even Jamey.

If it's a girl, just spell it Jamie.

thanks fot the feedback. I dont know what sex it will be yet. Im m=not sure if i want to find out it would be such a nice suprise but then again i probably wouldnt be able to wait all those months. I dont think i will go with Jeymi for the fact that people probaably wont be able to pronounce it and i dont want to burden my child with that. I would only use this spelling for a girl and also this name for a girl becasue to me it "sounds" like a girls name. I will almost definitely change my mind but for the time being im going with Jaymee. thanks
