I can't vote - I like Liam and Will equally. I think I'd just wait to see which one came naturally to me once I had the little guy in my arms.

Although Liam is a formal name in it's own right, I really like it as a nn for William. If I had used William had my dd been a ds, I would have called him Liam. I also like Will.

I would not use Wills unless you are royalty.

I voted for Liam because it is a little different but not so out there but Will is terrific too!

I knew a boy who was a William III and he went by Billy until he was in high school. Then kids started calling him Will. Good luck!

Our oldest son is named William nn Will. So of course I love it. But since your daughter's name is Irish I would stick with the equally Irish, Liam. I think it sounds great on its own and doesn't need to be a nn. JMO.

Well, I love William (the entire name), best, but for nn's, I definitely love Liam the best out of your choices...I also like it as a stand alone name :)
