Hello :)

Although I like the names Nicholas (my very favorite!) and Lucas over Matthew, I don't think the S in the FN and the S in the LN flow very well. The first S gets lost.

And I agree with your DH, don't think Jonah "matches" well with Schmidt.

So, I vote for Matthew Schmidt. Any info on MNs?? :)

Good Luck!

I prefer Lucas right now but I agree with you on the "S" situation but I wanted to see what other people thought!

MN's will either be Anthony or Joseph but I didn't include them since later they probably won't use their middle names later on.

Thanks for your advice,

Laura

many of your names, both boys and girls, are way too S-heavy to sound right with Schmidt. for instance, I voted for Megan even though I think it's way too common. I love Alyssa, think it sound bad with Schmidt. I love Matthew, so I'd have voted for that either way, but Lucas and Nicholas ending in S with Schmidt, just sounds really bad. it's tongue-tying.

S is the most tongue-tying letter in the alphabet. you should definitely avoid names with a lot of S sounds in them.

What is it w/ guys not liking Jonah? I actually LOVE that name & wanted to name boy #4 that but DH doesn't like it. I would have voted for Jonah here but you said your DH doesn't care for it either. I voted for Matthew instead.

good point!!! :)

I will definitely keep that in mind....I wish our last name was different...actually I prefer my maiden name but I'm old fashioned in the fact that my child will take my DH's name
