I voted for Helena. Are you pronouncing it helen-ah or he-lane-ah? I'm hoping the less common, British Helen-ah. Way classy sounding!

I am also interested in any opinions you have on the names. We are undecided on how to pronounce Helena---probably He-Lane-ah but the British way sounds nice too. We are leaning toward the Summer and Sabrina names but I like getting people's impressions.

Too bad!! I love the name Helena, either pronunciation. It's a lovely name.

Of the two S names, I'd go with Summer over Sabrina!

I absolutely LOVE the name Sabrina. That would be our future girl name but our last name begins with an "s" and I don't like the double ss.

I really like Sabrina. It sounds so fun and girlie. Helena is lovely - I've considered it after my MIL Helen, but I'm know it might be mispronounced a bit - is it HELena, HeLEENa, or HeLAINa. I like either of the latter two options. Sabrina Helene would be pretty.

The only name I'm not crazy about is Summer. It just seems a tad dated and less distinctive than Sabrina or Helena.

Good luck to you!

I like that Sabrina Helen (my Grandmother's name) idea!

I agree with the poster who suggested Sabrina is more distinctive sounding than Summer. I like the name Summer (or even the spelling Somer) but I just think Sabrina sounds stronger and more 'established' as a name. You mentioned that you're looking for a strong yet pretty name and IMHO Sabrina fits that description to a tee!

While I voted for Summer, I think all 3 are great names and you can't go wrong with any of them!
