My husband and I can't decide on a middle name. He has a definate idea, but I hate it. Here are a few of the names we have and would like to get others' opinions on them:

Erik Gabriel Lease

Erik Julian Lease

Erik Nathaniel Lease

Erik Cartman Lease

Erik Alexander Lease

Erik Theodore Lease

Please help us!

Let me guess. Your DH wants the baby's MN to be Cartman? Please no! lol

I will completely disregard that suggestion! :o)

As to your other MN choices:

Erik Gabriel ~ I like both names, perhaps not together and I don't like how Gabriel and Lease seem to bleed together.

Erik Julian ~ I'm not a big fan of Julian, but I think it sounds nice with Erik.

Erik Nathaniel ~ :) See Erik Gabriel

Erik Alexander ~ I *love* the name Alexander and this FN/MN option is great.

Erik Theodore ~ eh...definitely NOT my favorite.

Okay, so there you go. I like Alexander and Julian best and I could probably think of TONS of other names I'd go with before I'd name my child after a silly cartoon character! :o) No, no, no!! :)

Good Luck!!

My thoughts:

Erik Gabriel Lease - the 2 Ls are a little tricky together, but not too bad if it is a mn

Erik Julian Lease - Nice, I like Julian, but it doesn't seem to really flow

Erik Nathaniel Lease - Like this better than Gabriel, but still have the issues with the Ls

Erik Cartman Lease -You have got to be kidding me. Go watch an episode of South Park before you consider this name.

Erik Alexander Lease - Okay, flows nicely, but still no pizazz

Erik Theodore Lease - My hands down favorite, love this combo!

My favorites in order

Theodore

Nathaniel

Julian

Alexander

Gabriel

Cartmen

I like Erik Nathaniel the best - it has a great flow to it and I like Nathaniel the best of the possible names

I've never been a fan of Gabriel or Julian as I think both are way too feminine sounding. Alexander is OK, it flows well with Erik. Theodore flows well, I'm not crazy for it, too old. Cartman is not a good choice because going from the K in Erik to the C in Cartman is the same sound and it's not a good transition - runs together.

good luck

I agree with others--anything but Cartman!
