I like both combos but voted for Olivia Noel (would rather see Noelle (No-elle) than Noel (NOLL). Noel seems boyish) but anyway.. the reason I voted for Olivia Noel over Isabelle Noel is twofold. One, it doesn't rhyme. Isabelle Noel does. Two, the initials ING would bug the heck out of me if it were my set of names... ONG isn't much better, but it's a combination seen far less often in words than ING!

Even though I love the name Isabelle, I chose Olivia (love it too!). I think there are too many "el" sounds in Isabelle Noel. Sounds too rhymy. But, separately, they are both great names. And, Olivia Noel is adorable!

Thanks for your replies. Noel would still be pronounced as in the french word for Christmas (Noelle). The reason we want to spell it like Noel is because DH's first name is Leon and it is Noel spelled backwards. :)

I prefer Olivia also, I am an English teacher and the iambic pentameter of Isabelle Noel nags me just a tad, but DH loves the name Isabelle. We shall see what the voters think, lol.
