"Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose To get the sun back in the sky. Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose About a thousand kisses shy. Ding dong ding I can hear the chapel bell chime. Ding dong ding At the least suggestion I'll pop the question. Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose Without a sweetheart to my name. Lida Rose, now everyone knows That I am hoping you're the same So here is my love song, not fancy or fine Lida Rose, oh won't you be mine Lida Rose, oh Lida Rose oh Lida Rose."
Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes that I made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was... To hell on earth, Heaven on earth, Back again, Into, Under, Far in between, Through it, and above.
Hi, I don't know that song is it pron. with a long I? Anyway, the name is not original to me - I heard it because Ayelet Waldman and Michael Chabon have a daughter named Ida-Rose and I thought it was so cool. We were thinking Ida-Rose Amandine? I'll post it.
Sounds a little "old" to me...but everything old becomes new again and I think that it can be absolutely charming once your little girl arrives and makes it her own! I don't know, I kind of like names that have an "older" sound- on a spunky child, it makes the name refreshing yet classy. Best of luck to you!
Sorry, it's too Music man-ish for me...
"Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose
To get the sun back in the sky.
Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose
About a thousand kisses shy.
Ding dong ding
I can hear the chapel bell chime.
Ding dong ding
At the least suggestion I'll pop the question.
Lida Rose, I'm home again, Rose
Without a sweetheart to my name.
Lida Rose, now everyone knows
That I am hoping you're the same
So here is my love song, not fancy or fine
Lida Rose, oh won't you be mine
Lida Rose, oh Lida Rose oh Lida Rose."

I think Ida sounds like an old lady name. I don't like it at all.
Sorry!
Best of luck to you!
