That was soooo hard. I love both Caroline (which I voted for), and Elizabeth. The rest are nice too!

LOL, I agree... I find them all so beautiful! Marina and Adeline are the mn's of both my grandmothers and Catherine is my mom's name. I would love to use Catherine to honour her, but the nn Caitie/Cady/Cate is too popular for me, and I love nn's. Marina and Adeline are also names I would love to use, but my BF doesn't like them (we are not pregnant, just thinking waaaaaay ahead).

You have a lot of nice names but I picked Victoria. I have known two people an adult and a two year old that both go by Victoria no nn and it fits them both so much.

Yeah, I had the same question. I don't view either of them as classic names, really. Marina is quite modern to my ear, and one of the main reasons that Felicity has never held much appeal for me is because I've always viewed it as a rather frivolous, juvenile name. (*I should note: the only girl I've ever known named Felicity was about as dumb as a box of rocks, and her personality was practically nonexistent. We called her "the black hole" because intelligent conversation of any sort halted the very second she walked in the door. I'm certain that has somewhat skewed my perception of the name. If I met a charming, intelligent Felicity who had a good sense of humor, then I'm sure my opinion would change. But I'm still not sure that I would think of it as "classic.")

Actually Marina is a family name that goes many years back, so I consider it a classic. Felicity, as well, is an older name. I find it beautiful and it is probably my favourite of the list.

Both of those names show up in the early 1900's on the SS website, tho not necessarily in the top 100. They definitely were used then.
