I think Elinor and Amelia sound great together. I love this spelling, btw...reminds me of Sense and Sensibility.
It would be hard for me to use Elinor without using Ellie, Nore, or Nora. Does Amelia have a nn? If she does, it might become awkward to have one dd called, say, Mia and the other called Elinor.
I like a lot of the names on your list.
I voted for Geneva, but I like all of them except Carlotta.
I'm glad you like Gigi! My vote still went to Elinor, though. Family names and names with personal meaning always trump other names for me, and now that I know that Elinor has a special meaning to you and your husband, I love it. Plus, Amelia and Elinor are both very classic, feminine, traditional names, and they just seem to match perfectly, at least to my ear. This is thinking waaaaay ahead, but I do think that Georgia would make a very cute sibling for Amelia and Elinor. I read in your other post that if Elinor has a nickname at all, it will be Nora. I don't know whether Amelia has a nickname, but Mia or Milly with Nora and Gigi...fabulous!
Another poster noted that every Elinor she's ever known has gone by Ellie whether she wanted to or not. I have a very good friend named Eleanor, and her nicknames range from Elle to Noor, but no one calls her Ellie (except her mom, and ONLY when she's sick).

Love Amelia, btw! ;)
Delaney (no nn) -- I really like Delaney, but I like some of your more classic choices a bit better with big sister Amelia :)
Elinor (no nn) -- Not my favorite spelling, but I do like Eleanor
Adeline (Addie) -- Like this a lot, as long as having both with A initials doesn't bother you (if you have more children, would you use another letter?)
Georgia (Gigi) -- nms
Geneva (Neva) -- nms
Carlotta (Lottie) -- I'd LOVE Charlotte, nn Lottie, with Amelia. This would have definitely gotten my vote. Carlotta seems an odd match, though (I know they're basically forms of the same name, but Carlotta brings to mind a middle aged Italian woman -- I've known a bunch LOL -- while Charlotte has the same sweet, classic feel as Amelia IMO).

I like Charlotte, but it would rhyme with our last name. Also, if we have another child, it would probably not end up an A...for instance, if/when we have a boy, he will be Jonah Ray.
