I love it. Susanna has been on my list of favorites for ages. It has a sweet, old fashioned charm and it's a refreshing option -- one you don't hear very often. Personally, I prefer the Susanna spelling, but Susannah is wonderful as well.

I see that Joy is another name you are considering. I think Susannah Joy is a really lovely combination.

I like it but I much prefer the 'Suzanna' spelling.

I've always loved the name Susannah/ Susanna, but SIL is Susan, so that kind of makes it unusable. Other than that tho, this would be high on my favorites list

Just wanted to let you know I think Susannah is a grand choice. It has all the characteristics of the "names of today" without the popularity!
Best wishes, Ginger

Susanna is DH's favorite name for a girl. I wasn't so hot on it at first, but all his talk over the last few years is changing my mind.

The more I thought about it, my mom's mn is Sue, so it would be a nice connection. (this is not why DH likes it, but it's part of the reason that I'm coming around.) I have added this name to my list too, and it is making it's way to the top. I also told him that if we did use this name, we should use his mom's middle name with it. So we may end up with a Susanna Gail.

I chose "in the middle" on your poll, but I would like to change my answer since I am on my way to completely LOVING IT. :)

Love the name! A friend of mine has a daughter named Zuzanna. It's basically pronounced the same, but it has a slightly harder sound at the beginning. We call her Zuza for short. She's polish btw.
