Hi there!
I am expecting our second baby April 20. WE are having a heck of a time with names.
My husband and I had picked out Austin Ivor when we were like 14 for our boy. Now that we have a feeling this one is a boy, we're not sure! We also Like Kaden. The middle name will be Ivor after daddy. For a girl we like Emerson, Kamryn, and Jayla but can't think of any middle names! My mom's name is Colleen Ann. I would like to name a girl after mom, but I don't think Colleen or ann goes with any of the names! Any thoughts, ideas or different names? Our daughters name is Shayleen Rae.

I really like Austin for a boy, its kind of popular though. I don't really like Kaden, it goes with the -aden trend (Aiden, Braden, Caden/Kaden etc). I like just plain Cade better. I also like Cadence for a girl (better than Caden).

Cadence Ann sounds nice. I also think Jayla Ann or Emerson Ann would work. For Kamryn how about Kamryn Annette or Kamryn Colette to honor your mom?

other ideas for boys:

Keaton (KEY-ton)
Colton
Gideon
Keegan
Corbin
Griffin
Asher
Allen
Adrian
Aaron
Alston

HTH!

After seeing your daughter's name, I thought of the Keegan Ivor. But I think that Austin works well too. Kaden is too trendy for my taste, but I do like Cade.

Here are some more boy names:
Gage
Dominic
Gavin
Holden
Miles/Milo
Quentin

Girls: Of the three you like Emerson is by far my favorite. You might also like Harper, Hadley, or Teagan.

Middle Name Ideas:
Emerson Pearl
Hadley Rebecca
Emerson Linnea
Harper Jane
Teagan Ivana (reminds me of Ivor...)
Emerson Rose
Emerson Kate
Hadley Wynn
Teagan Day

Good luck,
Brooke

Thanks for the reply! It's funny you suggested Cadence for a girl, I love it! I wanted to name our first baby it but My husband doesn't like it! That's why I thought Kaden or Kade for a boy! I like Emerson Colette. Thanks!

Austin and Kayden are both pretty popular names right now, I think. I've always liked the name Austin, though. And I just love using family names, so I really like Ivor for the mn! Of the girl names, I like Kamryn...and I love the spelling!!! Very pretty! I also like Emerson, but I like the spelling Emersyn. I think Colleen or Anne would go nicely with Emerson, but I agree with you that it won't go too well with the other two. Best of luck in deciding!!! :)

I love Austin for a boy, 1000x better than Caden.

Congrats on your new baby!

I prefer Kaden (Caden even more) to Austin. Austin, to me is dated

Out of your girl names I love Kamryn and think that Colleen is a cute name with Kamryn. (My moms name is Coleen and Camryn Coleen was on our list for a long time)

Emerson - I like this name but I like Kamryn much more. Emerson Colleen would work

Jayla - OK but I much prefer Kamryn or Emerson. Jayla Colleen would work as a combo
