Matilda is so incredibly sweet, and fits with the current trends without actually blending in, KWIM? Love it. ;)

Hi, Nikki,

This name is one that, I admit, I really didn't like for a while. When Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams named their daughter Matilda, I cringed a little bit. But the more I hear it, the more I like it. I reminds me of the adorable Roald Dahl book that I read when I was little. Plus, I really love Tilly...or even Milly...for the nickname (I know you're as big on nicknames as I). And since I know you love Tabitha (LOVE this one myself), I think Matilda's an excellent match. Tilly and Tabby...can it get cuter? Don't think so! :-)

You know what, I cringed when I first heard it from Michelle and Heath Ledger as well! But for some reason it is really growing on me. Tabitha and Matilda are probably my 2 faves right now... :) so cute.

Love them both so much. And since I remember that Adeline is a family name for you (I'm unbelievably green with envy), I think that Matilda Adeline is MARVELOUS.

As cute as Tabby and Tilly are, Tabitha and Matilda are just as sophisticated. I mean, seriously--doctors, CEOs, attorneys, whatever--they're covered. Great, great names.
