I *love* Francesca, but Bree seems a bit cutesy to me. I was going to vote "Like Francesca but not Bree" until reading that it was derived from a family surname. Knowing that, I voted love. I would REALLY love it though with different family mn. Francesca is gorgeous though.

Thanks, Nikki. Bree is actually the first syllable of my last name, just to be more specific. I've also toyed around with Francesca Ruth, but I prefer Ruth with Caroline (I just can't decide whether I prefer Caroline Ruth or Ruth Caroline...Ruth is after my grandmother). Also, I thought of Francesca Whitt, because Whittington was my great-grandmother's maiden name. But, I prefer the full Whittington as a middle name for Laura, Eliza, or Clara (I can't decide which I like best...your thoughts?).
So, since Francesca is a name I just love but has no family significance whatsoever, and since I'm a little short of good family names from my dad's side of the family, I thought Bree would be a good way to honor that part of my family. But I don't know if I love it either. Plus, my first two baby girls already have names (hypothetically speaking), so it's *slightly* premature to be concerned with it. :-) But dang it, it's just so much fun!
I agree, it is too much fun :)
I *love* Whittington... let's see...
Laura Whittington
Eliza Whittington
Clara Whittington
I see your dilemma, they all go nicely. I think I like Eliza Whittington best though, that has true spunk!
In terms of Caroline Ruth / Ruth Caroline, Caroline Ruth seems to have better flow, so I prefer that. I'm not a fan of calling your child by the mn, but it is always an option if you love the name Ruth.
Great choices, love them all!
