Camden - reminds me of the trashy city
Britt - very feminine... I think of Brittany
Brogan - Logan is much better, this sounds odd
Javin - madeup, Gavin is better
Jase - Okay... I dislike another child starting with a J and prefer Jace spelling
Ryle - awful
Preston - Very nice
Silas - LOVE it

Definitely Preston or Silas and please don't even consider Ryle!!

Justin, Marley and ...

  • Camden - I just replied to someone else (I don't *think* it was you, anyway ) about Camden. I'd like it quite a bit if it weren't for the NJ city. Maybe not an issue for you, if you live far away and have never heard of it, but if he ever happens to move to New York, DC or Philadelphia, everyone he knows will have, so still something to keep in mind.
  • Britt - he'd be assumed a Brittany or Bridget (being a nn for either of these). Also immediately brings to mind Ms. Spears, so not appealing to me, to be honest.
  • Brogan - I honestly should like this, but it's still not my favorite. I can't help but imagine it said in a "surfer" sort of voice (like slang for bro- LOL), and I dislike the meaning, though I love many similar names -- Breckin, Rogan, Ronan, etc.
  • Javin - looks like a typo of either Gavin or Javan. NMS
  • Jase - don't mind it as a mn, if you're looking to honor a Jason, but otherwise I don't care for it as a given name.
  • Ryle - not sure if this is a kre8iv spelling of Reilly or literally the word "rile" (as in, to irritate). I don't care for it, either way.
  • Preston - perhaps you DO like Ms. Spears? An OK name, not my favorite, but not bad, though it is associated with the celeb's babe.
  • Silas - ooh, now THAT I like! Familiar, but interesting, and definitely masculine enough to stand up next to sister Marley. That's just wonderful!

Preston is my favorite, but I think it's too close to Justin for my taste. I voted for Camden--I live in Texas and had forgotten about the city (not a big deal based on my location). Silas was a very close second...

I have to agree with pp on the other names. Justin and Marley are great names and some of your other options just don't seem to fit.

    Good luck!

I agree with PP that Preston is too similar to Justin.
