Definitely Tatiana. The name is gorgeous, sweet, and uncommon. I dislike word names, so that knocked off the first two, and I dislike the Nastassja spelling, although Natasha is lovely.

don't like the name Natasha...
Nas-tas-ee-ya
is the pronounciation of Nastassja. Is there a different way to spell it but keep the same name/pronounciation?
I only know the one spelling...the one Nastassja Kinski uses....

What about Natasja?

Genesis seems a bit "too much," if you KWIM, Trinity generally manages to come across as "trashy" rather than "religious" when used as a name (not sure how to put that more gently, so I'm hoping we know each other well enough for you to know I don't mean that viciously ), and while I get the saint connection with Tatiana, I prefer Nastassja, hands down.

I don't think you need the overtly-Biblical/religious connection as much, since I'd be more prone to compare the girl name to Angelina's, so the "resurrection" meaning here is PERFECT! I agree that the Nastassja spelling isn't my favorite, though I DO prefer this pronunciation. I would simply use the simpler Nastasia to get it. ;)

I have always loved the name Genesis. I first heard it on a girl on MTV's Real World, back in 1990-1991 ish. I thought it was the coolest name. Now that I am of age to procreate, I'm not sure I'd have the guts to use it. But I still like it alot! Good Luck

Nastassja GMV, but I agree that I like the spelling Nastasia best. I love Anastasia as well.

Oh! I didn't realize you were wanting "nass-tass-ee-ya". I've never heard of that or seen it. I tried to look it up on BTN and on BabyNames, but didn't get anything. Honestly, that spelling and pronunciation remind me of the word "nasty."

I thought you were trying to go for another form of Natasha...Natasja = na-TAHS-ya. Granted, I'm not sure Natasja is a "valid" form, either, but it seemed closest to what you were trying to go for.

Unfortunately, I really dislike the name Natasha although it is far more popular than Nastassja. I think Nastassja is Russian. Hubby loves the sound of the name...but no one can ever spell it. But I don't know of another way to spell it.

I know Nastassja Kinski is a German actress. I don't think you'd really need so many S's, though (if it were me, I'd want to keep the word "ass" out of my child's name. Way too easy there, lol). Nastasia, Nastasja, or Nastasya all work. Actually, when I did a little more digging, I found out that Nastasia/Nastasya is actually a shortened form of Anastasia (ah-nah-stah-see-ya).
