Of course there's OPOL (one parent, one language), but as I read more about bilingual parenting, I found out there a range a strategies: ml@home (minority language at home), articificial bilingualism (whether done using OPOL, ml@home, or a loose combination). Which one is used in your house? Maybe one I didn't think to mention?

We are working towards OPOL with me doing an artifical non-native German. I read on a bilingual parenting site that a parent doing a non-native minority language should have at least 3000 words to start; well I have maybe 300, but I'm working on it :D and I don't expect Finn to learn German just from me, even when I'm fluent
