Will the couple be having a traditional, western wedding or a traditional Hindu wedding?
I really liked what Tulip suggested.
You could also make them an album or a photobook, perhaps with photos of both when they were children and teens, then of their wedding. One side of the page can be for your cousin, and the other for his bride.
Tell them that this is the wedding present you would like to give them, ask for some photos (also ask for their families for photos) and promise them that you'll send the album or photobook to Alaska :-)
