I think you're right. It will seem very different at first but, in the end, everyone will get used to it. There are some neat new features that I think people will like.

I will believe when I see. All previous "upgrades" have meant that the boards loaded more slowly and became more unwieldy to use. It would be nice to be able to use bold and italic, so if that actually works after the upgrade I will be happy about that.

Well, I will look forward to that then. You have test-driven it? On a Mac? Because up to now, none of the bells and whistles worked on Macs, or rather they only worked on PC-based systems.
