and be crafty at the same time!
On Stitcher's Niche, we post free pattern links and many of them, especially those for embroidery, are NOT in English. While it is possible to embroider from the charts and graphs without knowing teh terminaology in French, Protuguese, Spanish, even Russian (yes Russian, or at least I THINK it may be Russian! http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-hgstitchery&msg=8469 but we publish a new thread every Thursday called $£€"Thrifty Thursday"€£$ in our "iVillage News, Views & Reviews" folder at the bottom of our board:
Come on over and help yourselves! And if you stitch anything from there, we'd love it if you shared photos of your finished work in our "Goals and Accomplishments" folder!
P.S. You can help yourselves from our English language tutorial links throughout the board as well --- I don't mean to limit you to the foreign language bits!
