Blessed are the Cheesemakers - Sarah-Kate Lynch
After my kiddo hid my other book I was reading, I picked up this one. As an author unknown to me, and without reading the dustjacket or an online review, I was cautious about this one. I like to read books "blind", but the cover looked a little "amish chic lit" to me. 10 pages in and I was hooked. A story told from different points of view that (you assume will) merge at some point in the book, it definetly holds your intrest. Corrie and Fee are two aging cheesemakers that are in LOVE with everything "cheese". Abbey is living on a remote island with her wacky, yet distant husband. Kit is in the process of drinking himself out of a job and a home. How these three groups of people ever manage to find each other is a story worth reading. Lots of laughs, outrage, and tender moments. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Hey a book where pregnant, vegetarian dairymaids milk cows to "The Sound of Music" can't be all that bad, right? LOL

I read this book last year and I loved it!! It is defintely worth reading to get that feel good feeling from book!

My only problem with "food themed" books is I get the munchies!!!
I just got done reading Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich.
Mmmm. Tastykakes! LOL
If you read Cheesemakers, you may never be able to eat Kraft processed cheese again. LOL.
