This was a really good book. I enjoyed the setting and getting a glimpse into servant life in the early 20th century. This book had some similarities to Atonement by Ian McEwan, however, this book was way better. It didn't get bogged down in stuffy language and the story kept moving and as a reader you are satisfied with the end even though you are left wondering what the characters will think of the secret once it's revealed. But I'm glad the author ended it when she did. I'd recommend this to
